Cathy is a qualified chartered accountant with experience in both the commercial and charity sector. Her current position is as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations for a charity group in the UK (turnover c£23m). Cathy grew up in South Africa and qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in Johannesburg in 1991.

Her recent experience includes three years as Finance Director for a residential property developer and architects in London.

In her earlier career she spent six years with the City of London law firm Herbert Smith.

She brings the experience of a variety of organisations, large and small, to her directorship, as well as experience of financing residential property developments and managing cashflow. She is married with two teenage children and lives in London.
